Friendly staff who always knock off a couple of quid if you buy multiple records. Can find some good bargains but the condition of the records varies considerably and they are not cleaned, so it can be a bit hit and miss.
Great selection and reasonably priced. Well worth the walk from the town centre.

Typical CeX. Gaming and electronics are downstairs, DVDs, Blu-rays upstairs. Some older formats are upstairs too but the proper classic are downstairs. There's no lift to the upstairs though. Some stock is not on display so check store stock online before you visit if you are after something in-particular. Goods are often grubby and sold in the exact cleanliness state they come in at. Thinking of selling something? Staff will always try and downgrade a mint condition phone so be prepared to haggle. Testing can take some time at weekends so be prepared to go away and come back after at least an hour at busy times (weekends).
Shame to see these stores dying out but i can see why. I was the only customer in there today at 11ish. I tried to browse the ps4 games but 2 members of staff were stacking the shelfs there. I moved left and right, trying to read the cases and to see what i could see but they wouldnt budge! Just carried on chatting about some grunge music. I think these stores need to wash out the grungey, miserable staff and put some friendlys in there. Like GAME. Atleast give them a uniform or some policys to follow. uncooth.

Brilliant service - dropped TV off mid-afternoon and was fixed early the next morning. Very helpful and fully explained what had been done.
Warranty repair from John Lewis. Prompt, efficient, friendly. Came exactly on time, having phoned an hour previously as expected. Highly recommend using this company.
